The Captain’s Cup was again won by X91 Astralita, sailed by John Tremlett, Tim Copsey and Fraser Graham. John Tremlett has won the Captain’s Cup 10 times and was overall winner of Cowes Week 2025.

Damian Ash, the newly appointed Itchenor Division Captain, was busy collecting awards on behalf of Itchenor members: James Meaning Trophy won by X50 Xcitation, Roger Yeoman and Michael Moss for 2nd best overall performance at Cowes Week; The Ningwood Trophy awarded to Roy Griggs and Steve Lawrence for 3rd best overall performance at Cowes Week.

The Itchenor Division again retained the Phillipson Shield for the best overall performance at Cowes Week 2025, with Teams X91 Astralita, X50 Xcitation, X39 Gone Away and X174 Foxglove.
The other many Cowes Week awards won by Team X91 Astralita at Cowes Week were: The Hiscock Cup, RMYC Centenary Trophy, Harold Hayles Bowl, The Ark & Dove Challenge Cup, Princess Jalina Cup, Frank Beken Trophy, Ron Rogers Bowl, The Simon Russell Trophy, RMYC Centenary Trophy.

Other awards: The Steele Pilcher Salver to X3 Silhouette, Tom Vernon for winning the Wednesday race; the Cowes Week Ladies Bowl was won by X76 Myrtle, Mrs Cordelia Ellis; the Captain’s Crystal to Mark Lacey, X115 Mix; the Dennis Ellis Bowl to X128 Little Mix, Mr and Mrs Gary & Claire Rossall
Mug prizes were awarded to the top ten boats at Cowes Week. Congratulations to the following; X91 Astralita, X50 Xcitation, X39 Gone Away, X3 Silhouette, X174 Foxglove, X161 Mayfly, X195 Turtle, X117 X-Ray, X166 Swallow, X119 Lone Star.

The Ladies Vase, together with a Benzies Brooch, was awarded to Mrs Amanda Paton, X161 Mayfly. The Brooch was donated by Mrs Jan Payne and she asked that it should be awarded to the top female crew racing at Cowes Week 2025.

The Class were delighted to support a Youth Bursary Team again this year. The youth team sailed X48 XL and was sailed by Abby Hire, Alex Paton, Kate Wharmby and Tom Wharmby. Alex was at the prize-giving and was presented with the Mike Till Trophy awarded to the team with the best performance with a helm under 30 years. Well done Team XL!

The Division Bowl was awarded to Team Lymington for being placed first overall on handicap and included X164 Vortex, X48 XL, X165 Tortoise and X195 Turtle

The Performing Seal was awarded to Willy McNeill for generating lots of attention to the XOD Class by creating the mystery of the disappearing car!

The Traveller’s Series was won by X91 Astralita, 2nd X76 Myrtle and 3rd X50 Xcitation. Ben McGrane presented the prizes supplied by Hyde Sails.

Lastly, the Inter-Divisional Cups were awarded to the following:
RMYC Challenge Cup (awarded by Hamble Division) to X91 Astralita, John Tremlett, Tim Copsey and Fraser Graham
RMYC 75th Anniversary Cup (awarded by Parkstone) to X123 Lara, Willy McNeill and Ted Tedrea
